Through hard work and determination, I eventually landed my first job at Period Living magazine as their office junior. This opportunity allowed me to assist freelance stylists and get hands-on experience in the industry.
Step Two: Start Networking
Networking is essential in any industry, and interior styling is no exception. I believe in putting yourself out there and speaking to as many people as possible. One breakthrough moment for me was when I approached the style editor of Elle magazine in the office lift and expressed my passion for interiors.
