Exploring the Patterns and Cycles of Pregnancy

Choice

What do you say to a woman who asks you to look at her horoscope to see if a pregnancy is in her future? This is a common question asked by many women who are anxious to know if they will have a baby and when it might happen.

As astrologers, we are eager to provide answers, using reliable planetary cycles to identify if and when a pregnancy may occur. However, the astrology of pregnancy is not a straightforward matter. The same aspects that suggest pregnancy in a woman's chart could also indicate personal expansion in other areas of life.

It would be nice if there were a magic formula that allowed us to predict pregnancy accurately. But astrology doesn't work that way, especially in modern times when we have more free will and choice in this regard.

As astrologers, it is crucial to approach this subject with wisdom and caution. We must be mindful of the impact our words can have on a person's mind and body. Stress, fear, worry, and doubt can affect a woman's hormonal system, so we need to be respectful of the delicate nature of this topic.

Many women come to astrologers with questions about conception and pregnancy, seeking reassurance and guidance. By the time they consult an astrologer, they often feel anxiety and pressure about this subject. Our responsibility is to handle this situation with care.

Free Will and Choice

Before analyzing potential signs of pregnancy, it is essential to understand the reality of the person seeking answers. Reliable birth control options are readily available nowadays, and women have more choice in their reproductive systems. Even if a client's chart shows favorable aspects for fertility, she may choose not to pursue pregnancy.

As astrologers, we must respect free will. Making dramatic predictions about pregnancy without considering a person's choices and intentions may create unnecessary pressure or anxiety. It is essential to honor each individual's agency.

The Trigger

Every article has an interesting backstory. This one began with my research for a seminar on planets moving to the Aries Point. As I analyzed celebrity horoscopes for examples, I stumbled upon Chelsea Clinton's chart. It had several planetary configurations indicating family-related matters.

Upon closer examination, I discovered significant activity involving Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter, suggesting potential family expansion. I predicted that an announcement of her pregnancy might come in 2014. Just a month after my public post, Chelsea Clinton confirmed her pregnancy, proving the accuracy of the astrology.

This experience and the subsequent response from other astrologers inspired me to delve deeper into the astrology of pregnancy. I started collecting birth data and analyzing the cycles and aspects during the nine-month period of pregnancy.

Research Parameters

My research included 56 births from 36 mothers. I focused on simple and basic measurements, considering transits from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, and solar arcs to significant points and planets in the horoscope.

Out of the 56 pregnancies, I found consistent patterns of multiple cycles occurring simultaneously. These significant "big bell" aspects indicated the potential for a major life event like pregnancy. Rather than a single transit or solar arc, it was the combination of cycles that had the most impact.

Summary

In summary, the astrology of pregnancy is not about specific transits or solar arcs. Instead, it is the convergence of multiple aspects that creates an active time frame for a major life event. Angles and their rulers, the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all play a role in indicating potential pregnancies.

When analyzing a woman's horoscope, we should pay attention to concurrent solar arcs or transits occurring at once, especially when the angles are involved. The activated areas of the chart indicate powerful movement and change in a person's life.

It is important to consider the context of a woman's choices and intentions in relation to potential pregnancies. Effective birth control methods allow women to exercise their agency, and astrology can guide them in understanding the timing and potential life changes associated with pregnancy.

As astrologers, we have a responsibility to approach the topic of pregnancy with wisdom, respect, and sensitivity. By understanding the patterns and cycles of pregnancy, we can better serve our clients and provide valuable insights into this transformative life experience.
