Reveal day is finally here! Step inside and immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of southwestern home design in Santa Fe. This stunning residence, located in the beautiful city of Santa Fe, captures the genuine spirit of the region. Guided by our adventurous clients, we've created a space that truly embraces the landscape and culture of Santa Fe.

Our Santa Fe Interior Design Concept: Southwestern Home Design

To bring the essence of Santa Fe into every corner of this home, we delved deep into the rich history, culture, and themes of the region. Santa Fe has a unique blend of influences, from the Pueblo Indians to the Spanish colonialists and American settlers. We wanted to honor each of these groups through our design, paying tribute to the diverse assembly that shaped the city.

Throughout the home, you will find rooms dedicated to specific aspects of Santa Fe's history. From the Saints Room, inspired by the Spaniards' Catholic influence, to the Lobo Room, an homage to the state's iconic wolf, each space celebrates the vibrant colors, patterns, and bold artworks that define the Southwestern Land of Enchantment.

Our Favorite Spaces...

One of the most captivating features of this home is its exterior. With six portals, or porticoes, Camino seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor living spaces, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscape. The panoramic views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains during sunrise and sunset are simply awe-inspiring.

The Tipi Room

In the media room, we took on the unique challenge of incorporating a bench-made tipi. This authentic piece pays homage to the nearby tipi camps in Taos, north of Santa Fe. The artisan-made tipi not only perfectly fits the room in size but also complements the overall design with its color. It's a true focal point that adds a touch of authenticity to the space.

The Dining Room

The dining room showcases the Spanish influence that runs deep in Santa Fe. A stunning linear iron chandelier, sourced from Circa Lighting, gracefully hangs above a wood dining table from Century Furniture. Upholstered head chairs, adorned with Kravet fabric and Schumacher trim, add a layer of richness to the design. Neutral dining chairs keep the Spanish style design modern and fresh. To enhance the bold colors of the artwork, a rug from Rugmart featuring a tribal-inspired pattern was carefully chosen.

The Living Room

The living room was designed to be a warm and inviting space for the whole family to gather. We selected a high-performance Revolution Fabric for the sectional to ensure durability and ease of maintenance. Small cocktail tables from Four Hands, featuring benchmade-installed inlays from Sherpa Stone, provide the perfect spot for guests to rest their drinks. The textural contrast they add to the room is truly captivating.

Floor pillows, upholstered in Turkish carpet fabric, invite you to sit down and relax. These pillows tie in the color palette of the Matt Camron area rug. To carry the Spanish influence throughout the design, we chose a cocktail table from Mediterrania Home and a Bishop chair from Casa Rosina, a local shop in Santa Fe recommended by the builder. Art sourced from Mecox Gardens and a ladder from Mexico add the perfect finishing touch to this family's gathering place.

The Lobo Room

The Lobo Room, inspired by our client's alma mater and the native Santa Fean wolf, features a bed from Noir Furniture that perfectly mirrors the curves in the wallcovering design. The hand-rubbed finish adds an old-world feel, while bedside tables from Bernhardt anchor the bed frame, creating a stunning focal point. A hide and leather pouf from Surya pays tribute to the ranchers, the first American settlers in the West. A bright red traditional vintage kilim rug completes the design, imbuing the room with a sense of collected charm.

The Saints Room

The second guest bedroom, known as the Saints Room, celebrates the beauty of the sunrise. An Anthropologie bed and an Aidan Gray mirror echo the curve of the rising sun peeking over the landscape. Crisp white drapery by Joseph Noble, with Fabricut trim, allows plenty of light while ensuring privacy. A bench from Noir Furniture offers guests a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and witness the stunning sunrise. Colorful bedding and bold decorative pillows create a warm and polished atmosphere.

The Master Retreat

The master bedroom serves as the ultimate retreat, with a wood and wrought iron bed from The Arrangement that exudes a regal and Spanish castle-like feel. The antique finish of the John Richard mirrors flanking the bed evokes the movement of clouds across the New Mexico sky. Beautiful Currey & Company table lamps tie the deep, earth tones of the mirrors with the lighter color palette of the rug and bedding.
